Online Training
Segmental Retaining Walls (SRWs) have been changing the landscape for over 30 years by providing the right site solutions and creating the buildable land property owners are looking for. Allan Block would like to offer your firm an opportunity to present one of our informative "Lunch and Learns". We are offering these presentations through an online webinar. This will allow your design team to stay at their workstation, or if they are working remotely, just link in from wherever they are.

The intent is to develop an understanding of how all SRW's function to ensure that these wall structures are properly assembled. As part of the presentation, the advancements in the industry will be discussed, which include seismic design consideration and the addition of Internal Compound Stability (ICS).

It allows designers to transfer a conceptual layout from a site plan to a complete wall solution and then export it to various CAD software programs, as well as to the 3D Modeling Program SketchUp. In addition, engineers can generate elevations, plans, terraced walls, and multiple crosssectional views of their retaining wall projects.

0.1 CEUThe Allan Block Inspection Presentation is an introductory course regarding the proper installation inspection of segmental retaining walls (SRWs). The intent is to develop a basic understanding of how SRW's are built and what to look for when inspecting. This course is best suited for building inspectors or engineers that will be monitoring the installation and construction of SRW's.
